These Ayurvedic Doshas are well covered in our Ayurveda Page. Since every person’s hair has a distinct characteristics, so reason for hair loss can vary from person to person. But As per Ayurveda , the root cause for Hair Loss is because of the Pitta Dosha. Pitta controls our metabolism and digestion. A balanced Pitta gives us a healthy body and mind and also controls our general well being. Once you identify the reasons of pitta dosha, it becomes easier to correct it.

Usually eating habits, anxiety, and stress cause pitta dosha, which in turn leads to hair loss. For eg. excess consumption of tea, coffee, alcohol, meat, fried and spicy food can cause a pitta imbalance.
